The bare roots, trees located on one of the beaches in the Indian Ocean, are struggling to stand up. The erosion that lasts…

Drypoint on zinc, 21 x 29 cm. Edition 1/5. Italy

When my father fell seriously ill, he was still looking out the window looking for a light source. The night of his death, the curtain had moved by the wind and I smell his scent as if it were next to me.

Linocut, 21 x 29 cm. Edition 3/19. Argentina

The iconography was inspired by the culture of Teotihuacán. With the wind instruments improvisations were made worshiping the Jaguar showing great respect to the four elements: the earth, the water, the fire and the wind. The intention is to revalue natural resources through the improvisation of this woman who makes music on water, outdoors and where the sun’s rays fall.

Kitchen lithography on aluminium foil, 21 x 29,5 cm. Edition 3/7. France

The Kitchen-litho No General, go through it! Is a drawing ‘moment of play’ from Jacques Offenbach’s opera-bouffe  ‘The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein’ played at the Théâtre du Châtelet in 2004. I practiced the drawing of moment of play during a fortnight of years, it is about grasping the living by its movement only. The comedy of this moment allows me to pay tribute to the spirit of Offenbach by making a detour towards a passion (theater) that seized me about thirty years ago.

Noha Ali Soultan

The Mirror’. Photo-lithography on aluminium offset plate, 20,5 x 29 cm. Edition 5/8. Egypt

I am fascinated with the privet expression of people and I paint my impression by focusing on what capture my feelings. My work examines how private stories can be projected into the outside world while leaving the spectator fill in the blanks. Having a look in my mirror for a one moment, tells more about what printed in my soul for years.
