One of the first things I ever learned how to draw was a butterfly. They symbolize transformation, rebirth and freedom. There are many different kinds of butterflies in the world and each one of them is distinct from the others. Metamorphosis is a word that means the transformation of someone or something into a different form. My artwork represents the change that we all go through during our lives. Although you can still see its outlines, the butterfly is slowly fading into the background, and one day you will not be able to see it.

L’une des premières choses que j’ai appris à dessiner était un papillon. Il symbolise la transformation, la renaissance et la liberté. Il existe de nombreuses sortes de papillons dans le monde et chacun d’entre eux est différent des autres. La métamorphose est un mot qui signifie la transformation de quelqu’un ou de quelque chose en une forme différente. Mon œuvre représente le changement que nous traversons tous au cours de notre vie. Bien qu’on puisse toujours voir ses contours, le papillon disparaît lentement à l’arrière-plan et un jour vous ne pourrez plus le voir.
